Genesis 5:24 ~ Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.
It's so amazing that Enoch walked so closely with God, that He took him. What kind of relationship do you desire with The Lord? We may feel that God is so far away, but really He's only a prayer away. "We personally get to decide how closely we walk with God."
Jeremiah 29:13 ~ You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all of your heart.
The Lord has been right there waiting, longing to reveal Himself to us, as He did with Enoch. God desires for us to fellowship with Him. Do you desire an intimate walk with Him? Beloved, if you haven't had the relationship with God that you've wanted, I want you to know you can. Ask The Lord to draw you closer to Him. He will.
As we seek Him and walk closer to Him, He will fill us with His Presence and speak to us. We just need to quiet our soul to listen!! The Lord wants to talk to us and comfort us...He’s only a prayer away!!!
“You are my deepest desire. When I think about you, I’m filled with joy. When I created you, I intentionally put a longing in your heart that only I can fill. I did this so you would rely on me to make you whole. As you come to me, I will fill every area in your life where there’s a void. I enjoy spending time with you. When you talk to me, it brings me great joy. Your voice sounds so sweet to me. You are my greatest creation. The sun, the moon, the stars, I created them for you to enjoy.”
“Before I formed you in your mother's womb, I knew you. You are my child. I’ve counted every hair on you’re head. I collect all your tears in a bottle. I keep track of all your sorrows. When you’re in pain, I will comfort you.” Do you feel my love surrounding you now? I have great affection for you and an everlasting love.”
“I sacrificed my own son Jesus, so that one day we can spend eternity together. My desire is to be with you forever. Until then, I’m only a whisper away. I love you. I cherish you. Always remember my child, you’re never alone. I’m always with you.”
You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.
When I first gave my heart to The Lord, I cried all the time. I couldn’t control my emotions. I didn’t cry because I was broken, I cried because God made me whole. Now, I’m “sweetly broken”. After all these years later, when I mediate on what The Lord has done for me, I still weep. I’m in awe of God’s amazing endless love.
If you're dealing with a heartache, never feel ashamed or afraid to cry. You're tears are sacred to The Lord. As the tears stream down you're face, peace will flow like a river into you're heart. You’re tears are a sweet smelling fragrance to The Lord! Beloved, It's so amazing that our tears mean so much to God that He puts every single one of them in a bottle!
Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.“
1 Peter 2:10
"Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God's people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God's mercy.”
Many people build their identity in things such as: family, friends, beliefs, careers, possessions, themselves, etc.. Before I accepted the Lord, I built my identity by the approval of others. It was so bad that I didn’t make a move or decision on my own. I was so consumed with how others felt about me. Not a smart way to live your life.
If our identity is not in “JESUS”, we will have an “identity crisis.” After I accepted The Lord, I wanted my identity to be in Him. I needed a dramatic transformation. I submitted my entire life to Him. I asked The Lord to completely rebuild me. I learned that God's love and approval was all I needed. He filled me with His love and His validation. He healed my wounded heart. He took all the broken pieces and mended them.
Whenever I serve today, I don't do it for approval or how people make me feel. I do it because I love them and I desire to serve My Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. If you feel like you may have an “identity crisis” like I did, all you need to do is call upon The Lord. He is faithful. He will take your broken pieces and make something beautiful out of them. Ask The Lord to give you, “His identity.”
How long will you forget me, Lord? Forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
Something feels different between you & The Lord. You still love & serve Him. At one time you would seek Him & His presence was so strong. Now you can barely sense Him. You don't know why. You keep asking The Lord to search your heart & reveal if you’ve done anything wrong. You don’t get an answer. Then you go to The Lord crying out with total desperation. Father, I can’t breathe without you. Lord, your the air that I need. I can't live without You. Without You there’s no me.
Desperation makes us weak. Most importantly it makes us seek. During this time of desperation, read the Bible for inspiration. This is one of the best opportunities to show The Lord how much you love & desire Him by continually seeking Him. You’re dependency in Him is growing. You’ve decided you need Him more than anything else in this world. You’ve now completely surrendered your life to Him. You’ve developed a much deeper relationship with The Lord. At one time you called Him Savior. Now You call Him, Lord & Savior. Your Love for Him is deepening. Your longing to worshipping Him. “Seeking His Face.”
Your beginning to feel His face shinning upon you. Your awareness of His Presence has increased. Remember, how incredible God's Presence was in your life before, well get ready to be completely overwhelmed. You will begin to experience intimacy with The Lord like never before. Keep Seeking HIm...
I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
Abiding in Jesus means we receive, believe and trust in Him. We receive His love, joy, peace, happiness, and contentment. Even during tough times, we’ll have a certainty that He works out everything for our good. He refreshes our soul. We learn to depend on Him. We become confident that The Lord has us in the palm of His Hands.
Also, as will abide, it cause us to lose ourselves in Him. As we do that, we’ll find our true identity. Then we began to reflect the image of Jesus Christ!! This is our highest calling!! Surrender everything you have & all that you've become to The Lord! May His Will be done in you.
Be still and know He is God!! We are His workmanship!! Saturate yourself in His Presence!! Lay you’re burdens at the altar!! Walk with humility, love, & forgiveness!! Lift up you’re fellow Christians!! Daily, meditate in His Word!! Honor & Exalt The Lord in all you do!! Seek His face!! Behold His Presence!
John 15:10-11 ~ If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
Psalms 91:1 ~ He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
One of the greatest things we can do as God’s people is pray. Prayer changes things! Prayer is absolutely essential for every follower of Jesus. I’ve spoke with many Christians that have told me that they don’t know how to pray. The first thing I tell them is to read:
“This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
The second thing is: Just talk to God like you would talk to your best friend. My mentor once told me he would take 2 chairs & face them toward each other & imagine Jesus seating in one of them. He said it helped him learn to talk to God. Just remember elegant speaking doesn’t move the heart of God. A pure & contrite heart does. Be yourself. Tell the Lord how much you love & desire Him in your own words. Speak from your heart! Bare your soul! Share with The Lord all your wants, needs, desires & yes even your shortcomings. He loves when we come to Him & ask for His Will to be done in our lives.
As we humble ourselves, lay at His precious feet & pray, He will pour out His love, wisdom & direction for our lives. As you pray, never be in a hurry. Love on The Lord & let Him love on you. A consistent prayer life will strengthen & build a more intimate relationship with our beautiful Creator! How precious is intimacy with God!
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
The Lord is always speaking to us. Often times we don’t hear Him because of all the chaos and distractions around us. If were talking or if our mind is racing, we will have a tough time being able to hear Him. For us to hear His voice clearly, we must quiet our soul. It took me along time to learn how to quiet my soul. I want to share with you what I did and still do now.
I go to the Lord in the middle of the night. There’s something very special about the quietness of the night. I lay on the floor and imagine I’m laying at the feet of Jesus. Then there’s 3 steps I take...
1. I begin to thank Him for any and everything that He’s done for me.
2. I share my desires, pains and burdens with Him. I ask Him To forgive me for anything I’ve done to hurt Him or anyone else. Then I lay all of it down at His feet.
3. I worship Him and tell my soul to get ready to hear His voice. Then I say, “Lord draw me.” Then I get silent.
After the first two steps I have an inner peace and that quiets my soul. My heart and conscience feel clean. His peace then silences my mind. Now, all I have to do is listen.
Beloved, I can hear The Lord whispering these words to us...
"Come away with me my love!" I want to tell you something my child. But first, I need you to do something for me. I need you to lay your problems, your fears, your burdens and most importantly your life at “my feet.” I need you to completely surrender yourself to me, so that you will know my will and the plans I have for you to accomplish. I have many gifts for you my child. You will receive them as you follow after me. I will provide everything you need to fulfill the calling that I have given you. I will guide you every step through my spirit.
My child, don't get distracted with the things of this world. It will only bring you temporary pleasure and it will also delay the plans I have for you. Come to me and I will fill you with my living water. I will satisfy you. My love, remember to continually saturate yourself in my presence and you will always be full. I will overflow your cup.
My love, there will be moments, I will be silent. You may begin to wonder if I am still watching over you. It's during these moments that I am actually the closest. I am developing your character. I have given you a very special assignment. To accomplish the plans I have for you, you must understand the fruits of my spirit. Always remember my child, I love you and desire you above everything else. I am always with you.
There is one more thing I ask of you my love. I want you to daily come away with me. I desire to spend more time with you. I will be anticipating your next return! My arms will be stretched wide open! I will be waiting for you, my love!
You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you
When we begin to seek The Lord for His face and not His hands, we will begin to experience intimacy with Him. When we draw near to The Lord, He will draw near to us.
Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.
If your desiring a closer walk with God, tell Him. He loves to be desired and pursued. He will reveal Himself to you. As you lay before The Lord with a heart seeking to know Him, you will began to experience His love and Presence.
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Waves of His Glory will splash over you. You will begin to understand what it means to be "Saturated in His Presence.” Oh, how sweet His presence is! As you experiencing His Presence, you will become “more like Jesus.” The Lord becomes your closest friend! As you talk with Him in the secret place, His face will shine upon you.
When Moses came down Mount Sinai carrying the two stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, he wasn’t aware that his face had become radiant because he had spoken to the Lord.
There’s nothing in this world I have a desire for more than to have intimacy with God. I know many of you reading this feel the same way.
I woke up this morning feeling compelled to share something with you. I want to share with you 4 things that will deepen your intimacy with the Lord.
1) Desire The Lord and His Presence.
2) Devote yourself completely to knowing and doing the Lord’s Will.
3) Depend on The Lord for direction and guidance.
4) Desperation. Tell the Lord you are nothing without him.
John 12:26 If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me. Where I am, there will My servant be also.
A true servant will serve, without expecting to be served. Their not looking for anything in return. They’ll do it because they love their Heavenly Father, knowing what He has done for them & by serving His people, they know their serving Him. Servants like this understand they would be nothing without The Lord. They dedicate every part of their lives to Him & are very quick to give their time, heart & money to needs & causes, with or without being ask to. The pitfall for this servant is sometimes they say yes to things, when they probably should’ve said, “NO." Their hearts are so pure, trusting & giving that many times they get taken advantage of.
I believe I’m speaking to many servants with hearts like that right now. Beloved, You're unquestionably a true disciple and follower of Jesus Christ. Praise God for you. From the depths of my heart I want to say thank you for serving our Lord.
Father, I come to You in Jesus name. I thank You for Your presence and love that You continually pour out on us. Lord, I ask You to protect and guide Your true servants from anyone who would try to take advantage of or try to guilt them into doing anything that is not YOUR WILL. Father, I ask You to reveal the truth to Your servants so they will know without any doubt that they’re giving where You’re directing and calling them to. Lord, I ask for Your shield and protection over their hearts and minds. Father fill us with Your love, truth, peace, wisdom, guidance, and direction. We trust and rely on You Heavenly Father. Amen…
When we have a desire for something and God doesn't allow us to have it, or a circumstance takes place that we don't understand, "Surrender it to The Lord Immediately", and believe that "He knows, what's best for your life." "You are His child!" "He loves you!"
You may have to cry out, "God help me to trust You in this."Take away my desire to feel like I need to know everything." I love You and I know, "You always work things out, for my benefit." "Help me Lord, to lay it at Your feet." I choose "YOUR WILL", even though I want my own. Let "YOUR WILL" be done in me. Help me God, not to ask why, but to see, You have my life, "IN YOUR HANDS" and You are protecting me. I willingly surrender even though I don't understand.
"You are my God." I will submit my life to You." Have "YOUR WAY" and reign in me. I LOVE YOU, MY LORD JESUS. I will serve You no matter what. "Lord, I will give up all of my desires for Yours." Jesus, I know You gave Your life for me" and understand what true sacrifice means." "I AM YOURS, DO WITH ME, AS YOU PLEASE." "LORD, I TOTALLY SURRENDER ALL TO YOU."
